Your Itinerary

Day 1, Tues., Jan. 2 – Ft. LauderdaleTravel from Baton Rouge (or home airport) and fly to Ft. Lauderdale for overnight.

Day 2, Wed., Jan. 3Transfer from hotel to the “Caribbean Princess”.  Depart Ft. Lauderdale at 4:00 p.m.

Day 3, Thur., Jan. 4 – Princess Cays, Bahamas - Our first stop is our exclusive port of call, Princess Cays, where you'll enjoy a private beach party on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas, one hundred miles long and only two miles wide, Eleuthera offers unspoiled beaches.

Day 4, Fri., Jan 5 – Cruise–A day at sea, but not to worry, activities and entertainment will abound on board the ship.

Day 5, Sat., Jan. 6 –Cruise – Sea day

Day 6, Sun., Jan. 7– Cartagena, ColombiaToday we port in the colonial coastal city of Cartagena.  Cartagena was founded by theSpanish in 1533 and since then has grown into the 5th largest city in Colombia.  An optional excursion may be a visit to the walled city in the center of Cartagena, designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984.

Day 7, Mon., Jan. 8 – Panama Canal (Gatun Lake) – Colon-Today we enter the Panama Canal, one of the great engineering achievements of all times.  The complex system of locks lifts ships 85 feet when they journey through the isthmus and eliminates the need to journey around Cape Horn, providing opportunities for global trade and travel.  Optional excursions could introduce you to colonial Panama or you could see the Panama Canal from the seat of an 18th century rail dome car.

Day 8, Tues., Jan. 9- Limon, Costa RicaOur voyage continues to Limon and its pristine beaches, sprawling banana plantations and dense rainforests.   Today your optional excursion may include visiting the rainforest via an aerial tram.

Day 9, Wed., Jan. 10 –CruiseA day at sea.

Day 10, Thurs., Jan. 11- Ochos Rios, Jamaica–Today we port on the northern coast of Jamaica.  Optional excursion could include Dunn’s River Fall, or the more adventurous might try zip lining through the rainforest.

Day 11, Fri., Jan. 12 - Cruise– A day at sea.

Day 12, Sat., Jan. 13 - Home–Arrive Ft. Lauderdale at 7:00 a.m.  Transfer to flight home.
